a primary BNSF and KCS transportation corridor, our seven-acre facility
and fast, quality service make Rail Car Services an ideal light repair,
cleaning, interior coating and maintenance destination for your freight equipment.

With room onsite for more than 50 freight cars and both indoor
and outdoor repair stations, we repair and maintain freight cars, ranging from
preventive maintenance to light repairs, including safety appliances, outlet
gates, doors, and roof hatches. We specialize in clean-outs as well as washing,
sandblasting and interior painting of covered hopper cars.

Paint Booth
In early 2014,
Rail Car Services proudly introduced our latest, high-tech equipment to
help maintain railroad rolling stock. The 75’ X 25’ Kayco spray booth is
specially designed to paint covered hopper car interiors. This modern coating
equipment features a state-of-the-art bake and cure system to ensure the very
best quality product and allows for rapid turn around.
Sandblasting
Our
lean and efficient business processes return
freight cars to active service quickly and reduces out-of-service expenses for
our customers. Two 150 hp air compressors help reduce time and the amount
of product used to blast freight car and other container interiors, and
our coal slag blast media is safer, more efficient, environmentally
friendly and reusable.
